Meet Dr. Nelson Searcy

Nelson Searcy is the Founding and Lead Pastor of The Journey Church, with locations across New York City and in Boca Raton, FL. By God's grace, he identified and developed the Eight Systems of a Healthy Church^® that he has used to coach over 3,500 churches in the US and around the world to adapt those eight systems to their unique ministry fields, resulting in great health and growth.

Nelson regularly coaches pastors online and in-person through the Church Leader Insights and Renegade Pastors Network ministries that he founded. He also leads several annual pastor in-person conferences and online training events. In ministry for more than 25 years, Nelson and his church routinely appear on lists such as “The 50 Most Influential Churches” and “The 25 Most Innovative Leaders.”

He is the author of over 100 church growth resources and 19+ books, including The Renegade Pastor: Abandoning Average in Your Life and Ministry, The Difference Maker: Using Your Everyday Life for Eternal Impact, and Fusion: Turning First-Time Guests Into Fully-Engaged Members of Your Church. At the 2023 Church Growth and Systems Boot Camp, you’ll join Nelson Searcy and your fellow pastors LIVE in-person at a new location near Washington, D.C.

Venue and Accommodations:
The event will be held at a church hosted by one of our Titanium members and Renegade Pastor Icon Award winners. (You'll get up close and learn directly from this host pastor who has applied all eight systems in his church!) The church is located on the Virginia side near a Metro stop with easy access to local attractions, restaurants and great hotels.

For privacy, security and quality concerns, the exact venue location is revealed only to those who are registered.

Travel:
The host church and nearby hotels are within 25 minute of two major airports: Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD).

If traveling by train, there are several Metro stops close by.

DC is also a ride-share friendly city with Uber and Lyft, so you won't need to rent a vehicle to enjoy your experience, but plenty of rental car agencies are available.

The 2023 Church Growth & Systems Boot Camp runs three days from Wednesday, July 26, starting at 9:30am through Friday, July 28, at 12:30pm (making it easy to travel out the last day). Registrants can also select a bonus museum day on Tuesday, July 25 that features a private bus tour of key sites in Washington, D.C. plus extended time at The Bible Museum and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
