Then, for your custom foreword — the real heart of your custom edition —the word count is about 850 - 950 words. We will work with you on your own foreword and also provide samples of this as well. The common theme is to make it personal — tell your story and we can help you with the editing!
The short answer is a resounding YES! We provide you with samples to guide the process and will work closely with you to edit your bio and foreword. All content is also reviewed and approved by Nelson himself and goes through our proofing process. You also now the option for us to write the personalized foreword for you! It's a very low investment — just $150 if you'd like us to write it. Your investment includes: A phone call interview with one of our writers, two rounds of edits to your foreword, and a guarantee that you will be happy with the final version — or you will NOT be charged!
Upon receipt of initial materials (logo, photo, bio, foreword), you should expect to receive your books in approximately 60 days. That takes into account time for proof approvals throughout the process.

AND THE MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION. . .
The most common response I receive regarding an Unshakable project is:
"I want to do it, but how do I pay for it?"
I've worked with dozens of churches to help them with this question, here are the most successful approaches:
- Cover it within existing areas of your budget. Unshakable is an Assimilation and Evangelism tool, perhaps the finances exist in your current budget already and you simply redirect those funds to this project.
- Cover it through a "Buy One, Give One" challenge. Let your people know about the book and encourage them to "Buy One, Give One" — buy one for themselves and one for a future first-time guest for a total of $20. And then expand it to offer "Buy One, Give Two" for $30 or "Buy One, Give Four" for $50. Remind people that it's an investment in the future evangelism and outreach of the church.
- Approach one or a few people and ask them to each cover 100 copies. One person might cover all 500 or 1000 copies. Or ask a handful of people to each cover 250 copies.
- Add it to your special offering. Whether it's a Christmas Offering or another special offering, add in the Unshakable project as an evangelism and assimilation investment that will make a difference for the next year.
- Get started with a case of regular Unshakable books. First prove that they work as a "better" gift for your first-time guests and then work to get a custom version in next year's budget or special offering (see ideas above).
- Pay for it yourself. Not an option for most of us, but sometimes the Lord provides and you personally feel led to do it.
- Pray and ask God to show you - He will guide your steps and open up a door for pursuing this project. Trust me, I've seen this happen many times!
Big idea: Don't let finances keep you from pursuing this project if you feel it's right for you. God will provide!
