Welcome to Your 2024 Renegade Pastors Conference!

This page is your central event HQ for the conference. It's an easy way to stay connected and find everything you need in one organized place.

Wednesday, February 28 (starts at 9:45am ET); Thursday, February 29 and Friday, March 1 (ends at 12:30pm ET)

PRACTICE ZOOM ETIQUETTE DURING THE CONFERENCE:

Mute your microphone. While the conference is underway, be sure to always mute your microphone. Unexpected noises can interrupt our speakers and interfere with the conference experience.

Be an active listener and take notes. A major part of video conferencing etiquette is making sure you’re listening and understanding what’s being said. It’s also a good idea to take notes. A conference notebook will be provided that you can print out — or you can use your own journal.

No multitasking. Research indicates that multitasking is counterproductive. It’s best to give your full attention during the conference and you’ll retain more from the training.

DON'T UPDATE ZOOM JUST BEFORE THE CONFERENCE:

Be sure to test your Zoom application the day before the conference. If you get a pop-up notification telling you you’re ready to upgrade your Zoom version, wait until after the conference. There’s no rush. Your Zoom will work fine during the meeting — the only purpose of the notification is to tell you that another version is available.

How to Maximize Your Virtual Conference Experience

CREATE A DEDICATED, COMFORTABLE WORKSPACE AND MINIMIZE ANY DISTRACTIONS:

Find a quiet place where you can focus on the conference without distractions. Set aside the time on your calendar as if you were attending an in person event and don’t multitask throughout. Turn off any phone notifications. When you’re distracted, you miss out on the full conference experience.

Make sure that you have an ergonomic chair and desk setup to ensure comfort throughout the conference.

Consider using noise-canceling headphones or earbuds to reduce background noise interference.

ADDITIONAL REMINDERS TO MAKE THE MOST OF THE CONFERENCE:

Set goals for yourself for the conference. What do you want to achieve by attending? Writing down some goals will help you focus your time and energy during the event.

Be open to new ideas and experiences. Don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone and learn new things at the Renegade Pastors Conference!

Pray for focus and God's direction during the event. Be prepared to learn as much as you can, capturing those thoughts shared by our speakers AND those that the Holy Spirit imparts!

Have fun! Conferences should be enjoyable experiences. Make sure to take some time to relax and enjoy this “balcony time” away from the day-to-day and in the presence of other like-minded pastors!
